We are looking for Pipers & Drummers!
All levels of experience are welcome, absolute beginner to the seasoned veteran.
We practice every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

The Teaching Program started several years ago with an incredible response to our registration event held at The Shepherd's Crook here in Georgetown.
That single event registered four new bagpipers, five snare drummers, two tenor drummers and a base drummer. We have continued to add new students to our program to the point where we now have promoted four of our first piping students, two tenor drummers, and three of our first drumming students into the band. We still have five piping students and six drumming students in various stages of their learning.
The success of any youth/teaching program lies in the mentors and instructors. These dedicated pipers and drummers have given their time and energy to ensure the success of each student. Without their help, the bright future of The Georgetown Pipe Band would have been lost.
A heart felt THANK YOU to each and every person who is teaching the next generation of pipers and drummers in this wonderful band.
